Willow Creek Riding School
Willow Creek Riding School is located in Champion Lakes on McNeill Road. We specialise in beginner riders learning to become independent riders with a solid foundation to continue equestrian pursuits. We offer both group and private lessons on safe, well-educated horses and ponies. We cater to riders from 3yrs to adults, all are welcome. We teach fundamental riding skills in flatwork, jumping, active riding and trail riding (trail riding for students taking lessons at the riding school only).
We offer lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school and Saturdays until 2pm. Private lessons, adult groups and home schooled riders can make other times by arrangement only. All lessons must be by appointment and group lessons do not exceed 5 riders. Riders are encouraged to have a trial lesson (paid) to ensure we are a good fit for you.
Lessons prices are $45 for 45 minutes in a group, $65 for 45 minutes private, $50 for 30 minute private (12yrs and under only) and $30 for 30 minute tiny tot group lesson (7 yrs. and under, Friday 3.30pm only). All students are encouraged but not required to participate in horsemanship by grooming, tacking up and feeding horses when required.

Monday 4-4.45pm Intermediate – able to walk, trot, canter and jump independently. (2 spots available)
Wednesday 5-5.45pm beginners – able to walk and trot independently, progressing in canter⁄jumping (2 fortnight spots only)
Friday 3.30 – 4pm tiny to tots - lead-line learning basic riding skills, parental help essential. (3 spots available)
Friday 4-4.45pm beginners – able to walk and trot independently, still solidifying basic skills and control (under 12yrs, 2 spots available)
Friday 5-5.45 Advanced – riding all paces independently, working on lateral movements, jumping etc. (suited to teenagers and adults, 1 spot available)
Saturday 9-9.45am intermediate – able to walk, trot, canter and jump independently. (4 spots available)
Saturday 10-10.45 beginners – learning independent riding skills (fortnightly only) (4 spots available)
Saturday 12-12.45pm advanced – riding all paces independently including jumping (suited to kids under 16yrs, 1 spot available)
Feel free to view the riding school any time between 4-6pm mon, wed and fri or sat between 9-1pm.
